cup on a plate

This idea of a cup on a plate is one my latest ideas as well. We seem to
often go the same way, as if a thought has been thrown out onto the ether
and we all pick up on it.

A contained form supported by a more open form. It has so many uses.
I wonder how many we will see at next years ceramic fairs and exhibitions?

One good advantage of this kind of form is that we have something to hold
when glazing. Yes, let's always think of the practicalities as well as the
aesthetics in our work.
