At Hood College, in Joyce Michaud's master class (for which I was really
really not qualified, but loved), she had us practice by centering and
throwing blindfolded and then with one hand behind our backs. Great fun and
pretty enlightening.

Marlene and janet, I was so happy to read your messages. Because an eye
disorder has hindered my ability to work with quickly moving objects, I have
confined my clay dabbling to handbuilding. I enjoy it immensely, but have
always wondered if there was some way to compensate for the eye problem and
work on a wheel. Always nice to have a few more options open up than you
realized were available!

in BLUSTERY Massachusetts. The poor xmas trees that weren't purchased yet
are being tossed around like sticks. The last week of hunting season is
proving the hunted much smarter than the hunters. The local sightings are
always of deer in my front yard, much to my neighbor's chagrin.
