Hi all,
is anyone using a Moldex respirator? So far, it's the only brand I've been
able to find here in town. I'm looking at the 8000 series.
Thanks for the suggestions on looking under "safety" in the Yellow Pages,
unfortunately, most every company seems to sell only the paper masks. I'm
going to be using it for a fiber kiln as well as making glazes.

in Sacramento where we are having beautifully sunny days, but that also
means raking leaves - bummer!

We use Moldex respirators here in our shop. I don't remember the model
number but it is the type that has the inhilation/exhilation valve on
front. We buy these by the case from Lab Safety Supply. We use these for
most tasks and also have a few cartridge type respirators for others. Staff
seems to like the Moldex ones better. I se them both and have no
preference.
