Hi Bonnie, Thanks for the posting about Standard clay 182 and glazes. I
have used their 1125 cone 5 glaze on their clay 200 for decorated
stoneware repros, but it never worked that well with 182. (Clay 181 is a
different animal...haven't tried that in years.) I've switched gears in
recent years and have retired from production pottery and the miniature
making, so I'm not spending much time on mugs and such except for special
orders. I've got several suggestions now from my query (thank you all) and
will try them out as soon as I can. I would much prefer to be working
ahead for my show scheduled for summer, but c'est la vie. I'll get back to
that after the new millenium. Cheers, CNC
