Hope that the ClayArt Community will help me get the word out to people
interested in MFA study with funding.

We have just been notified that the School of Art and Art History will
be given 2 fellowships for incoming African American MFAstudents
($14,000 per year stipend and tuition waiver). Additionally, incoming
MFA students will be eligible for Grinter, Graduate Minority, and
Presidential Fellowship competition.

At this point, virtually all School of Art and Art History grad
students have assistantships with tuition waivers, and we hope this will
be offered to incoming students as well.

This applies to all areas of MFA study: Ceramics, Graphic Design,
Electronic Intermedia, Drawing/Painting, Printmaking, Photo, Sculpture.

Since our deadline for application is Jan. 15th, this is very late
notice. I'd appreciate anyone who knows likely candidates to connect
them with this information. We'd like to see this funding help people
get to grad school.
