Hi!
Does nylon fiber burn out during bisque firing? I've not used this material.
I also wonder if fumes from the nylon are moreso toxic, than clay being fired
without nylon.

Milton, the nylon fibers burn out during bisque firing. Re toxicity that is
not my field but Monona's or Eduard"s. However if you do not work in your
workshop while having a firing, and your windows are open there should be
no problem. I have used both nylon and fiberglass for draped forms, and
to reinforce platters and have not had anything crack during the firing.
