robin's egg blue raku galze

Our raku class is interested in making some more Robin's Egg Blue raku glaze,
unfortunately we don't have the recipe. The glaze is a light to medium blue
(possibly copper/lithium??) and flashes iridescence if reduced heavily. If
you have a copy of this recipe would you please forward me a copy.

Hi Karl,
There are probably several hundred recipes for a Robin's Egg Blue
raku glaze as you describe. Here is one that I use.

Ferro Frit 3269 65
Gerstley Borate 30
325 mesh Silica 5
Copper Carbonate 1/2

Fire to about 1800 degrees F for good melt. You can adjust amount of copper to
your own taste. It will only be a good blue on white or light buff clay.
