Very interested to see the post from Sylvia re "White Glue" - I've been
wondering fro a long time what it would be in England.....Is it some sort
of paste? - Copydex? (fabric glue) - not wood glue surely???Does anyone here
have a good way of fixiing stilts or buttons to pot bases for loading? (I
bought some blue stuff from Potclays which didn't work at all...)

I think Elmer's Glue is what is sold as "PVA" in big plastic bottles with a
nozzle here in the UK... It too is white, dries a sort of "snot" colour to
transparent and will wash off clothes. You find it a lot in kindergarten and
schools.
At least I THINK that is what it is...
