To answer Chris Schafale' question
I pre-mix up to about two kilos of glaze dry in a closed bag. Keeping it
enclosed keeps down the dust problem. This is done to distribute bentonite =
and
the clays which can glue things up when they first hit the water. When I tip=
the
contents of the bag into the bucket I make sure the mouth of the bag is =
below
water line, again to contain the dust. And I agree with you, allowing a good
slaking time helps to speed things up in the long run when you screen the
mixture.
