Hi Crafty Clay Compadres.
I am looking for work in the Southern United States. I just finished a
seven month stint for a production pottery in Maine. I have varied
studio experience. Some of my skills include jiggering, hand-building,
slipcasting, slump molds, glaze preparation and application.
I am mechanically inclined and have performed routine maintenance and
repairs on different kinds of studio equipment, such as pugmill, jigger
machine and electric kiln (elements and wiring). I also have experience
loading gas and electric kilns for bisque and finish fire. I can also
tackle many carpentry and building projects.
I enjoy traveling and have some experience doing retail craft shows. I
am also a veterinary technician who loves the natural world and an
enthusiastic tea pot builder.
If you think we could work together, contact me online at
afrank@idsi.net or by phone (914)297-5747
