Moldmaking and Slipcasting
Ceramic artist Frank Bosco will be teaching an eight-week course at the =
NY/NJ
Academy of Ceramic Art, which is located in Jersey City NJ.
Mr. Bosco has over twenty years of experience on this topic=3B has taught a
course similar at the Rhode Island School of Design for the past six years,
and in the early 80=92s collaborated with Frank Stella to produce two series=
of
relief sculptures, one of which was entirely comprised of slipcast elements.
Mr. Bosco=92s own work can be seen in Frank Giorgini=92s book, =91Handmade =
Tiles=92.
Cost of the course is =24240.00 plus materials. There is no material =
fee,
you simply pay for only what you use. Required hand tools are on hand at the
studio.
It all starts Friday February 18th from 10am to 1pm. A brochure is available
