This is a transparent glaze fire to 04. Looks best over white slip.
John's Blue
Frit 3110 76.3
Gerstley Borate 5.7
EPK 7.1
Flint 10
Copper carb 6%

Good luck, vary the copper 1-6%

Thank you Denis for the 04 Turquoise. Actually I slipped up and it is
exactly an 04 range that I am looking for so I can maybe run it in the same
kiln along with my majolica ware. I will definately give this one a try.
I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks much.

Dennis,

Have you ever used this as a raku glaze? I had Southern Pottery send me
a raku glaze a few months ago and they sent John"s Blue. We tried it
oxidation, reduction, higher temperature, lower temperature and never
could get it to stop cratering. Maybe this isn't a raku glaze. What
experience have you had with it?
