Thanks to the Ceramics Program at Hood College in Frederick, MD we will have
two full weekends to explore shino-type glazes.
The first weekend (Feb. 18-20) will be spent talking about shino, its
mysteries and possibilities. We will mix lots of tests and glaze bisqueware
(stoneware or porcelain) that participants will bring.
The second weekend (Feb. 25-27), we will finish glazing, load and fire the
kiln, meeting Sunday afternoon to unload and share a pot luck supper.
