Hello Clayart,
At Cermatech, Bill Campbell spoke highly of the Orbit vacuum packing
machine. For his purposes, it is the cat's meow (sp?).
I've got the company literature coming my way already, but am curious. Is
anyone else out there using this machine who can discuss its advantages and
disadvantages?

Jeff,
I believe Stephen Jepson has been using an Orbit vacuum packing machine for a

I have used and loved my orbit packing machine for about 10 years....I
leased it/to own through Axner Pottery Supply. At the time that I decided
to go with the orbit...I was having a lot of shipping damage...UPS came out
and made a personal visit to critique my packing system..(then it was
wrapping each piecein cardboard and with slight spacing, peanuts in the
box). It was their suggestion that I try foam injection, which I ruled out,
or a system like orbit's. Since I have used the orbit...I have very little
damage and when I do, UPS seems totally willing to pay the damage claims.
