I just noticed that the formula for Reitz Green listed in Clayart Glazes
has 1% rutile. But there is also a Reitz Green correction which states
that it should have 2%. Can anyone help me with this. Write to
lyons_d@umbsky.cc.umb.edu or post. Thanks.

At cone 10, adding "abit" more Lithium - and that amount requires some
experimentation - can create some interesting large irregular black spots to
go along with the green. Also, Sandblasting the Reitz glazes (and some
shinos) creates interesting effects, especially for those who like a matte
surface.

I have one that is from the 70's that has no lithium, but does have 20%
barium and
12% titanium diox.
(CONE 10)
