The ART of TEXAS FESTIVAL in CALVERT, TEXAS is going to be bigger & better
than ever this year. Calvert is located just north of College Station is the
home of Sonny Moss. This year Sonny received some financial support & is
doing it up right. The ART of TEXAS FESTIVAL will be on Saturday, March 25
from 9am - 6pm.
The Mata Ortiz Potters will have a demo at the show! Their hand work is
amazing, "incredibly symetrical, and as light as the proverbial feather" and
pit-fired. Worth the trip to Calvert, all by itself.
Sonny is looking for Texas artist who are interested in participating in this
wonderful event. Send one good slide or phot of an example of your work for
consideration. There is no booth fee, but donations are appreciated. A
color photo post card will be printed using the work of 4 artist as the promo
piece. The deadline is Feb. 20th.
