The reaction between Gypsum Plaster and water is exothermic, that means that=
it
gives out heat. Surgical Plaster Bandage has very little plaster in its
composition but thick layers of the material will cause discomfort. =

plaster can become quite hot to the touch as it sets. Some people have =
sensitive
skins so take care.
