kiln patching cement?

I finally have my used Amaco kiln in place, vented and almost ready to go.
The top cover has a couple bricks out of place and I would like to use maybe
a welders rod to hold them in place? I have a box of 'Sairbond'. Is this
rated high enough to withstand the firings and to hold the bricks in place
or should I be looking at the moldable ceramic fiber (max 2300/*F)fits
standard caulking gun. Although the electric kiln is rated for cone 9
firings I doubt that I would be going that high. More like cone 04 -08
range. I want to do majolica ware and bisque of course. Any helps on kiln
patching . Thanks
