new skutt kiln, blown fuse in w. africa

Clayartists,

I am helping out at my son's school, getting their new skutt kiln up and
running. So yesterday when I went to punch in a ramp hold cycle for the
first firing firing, two minutes into doing this the little fuse on the
control box blew out. I do not know the kiln model offhand, but it's
skutts biggest, 240v, something like 30 amps and 3 phase.

I first checked that amperage is correct, and the other numbers, and
everything appears okay. So I'm puzzled as to why this would happen. ONE
PROBLEM here in West Africa is that we cannot just call some kind of
licensed electrician to help deal with this. So we need to try second
guessing anything that could be wrong. What size wire is needed,
whatever. A blown fuse makes me think there's too much juice, but that
would seem to be a problem inside the kiln.

Can anyone help? Thanks,

Is it the little glass fuse on the red Skutt control box?

That has nothing to do with the 3 phase power, if that is the fuse that blew. Th
