My 4-yo Pacifica gt400 is giving me some hesitation problems. When I
press down on the pedal, it goes halfway down before the wheel starts,
and then it's running at half speed, not slow at all. If I start out
fast I can slow down to minimum speed, but can't start there, which is
extremely irritating at some points. Have opened up the pedal, but have
no clue what to look for or fix. Any help appreciated; can't afford to
ship it back this time of year, even tho it's still under warranty. :(

Hi L-
We had recent trouble with our Pacifica and had to
send the motor to the Laguna people in CA to have
new brushes put in. Give them a call at 1-800-452-4862
and ask for advice. Be ready to spend lots of
minutes punching telephone buttons however. I'm sure
they will help once you get to the service dept.
