Nikoms posting reminds me that the competition is getting sharper. A =
production
line in Europe has a through put of two hundred thousand mugs a week. =
Nothing is
touched by human hand. All robotics, unloading, blending, mixing, jiggering,
fettling, handle luting, firing, glazing, packing and despatching. Three
graduate engineers run the plant by remote control. The only thing which =
changes
is the decal. And now they are looking at thirty minute firing times for
porcelain.
