is as lovely, informative and practical as Steve and Dannon reported.
>From my perspective as pretty much a novice, and brand new to extruding,
this is the book I've been hoping it would be! It is not only
beautifully photographed, but the pictures and text go hand in hand with
one purpose: to help the potter create wonderful forms. What do I like
most about Diana's book? That I can not only follow her instructions
step by step, but that just by reading them I feel inspired to move
beyond the work depicted. You experienced potters, the more vocal ones
as well as the lurkers, may not need the detail Diana has wisely
supplied, but the rest of us need exactly that. Diana employs her
abilities as a potter, as a writer AND as a teacher in this lovely asset
to all of us who want to try "Extruded Ceramics." Now if I can just
find a good showprice on the extruder I want at NCECA!

In the Mojave where a raven first honked like a goose this morning
outside the studio door, and then clonked like a roadrunner....I just
love hearing that!
