http://www.dharmatrading.com (I have no affiliation) sells a fire
retardant treatment that you spray onto fabric. It's sold in quart and
gallon quantities. The code they use for ordering it (by which you can
also search) is #FRTQT. The catalog I have sitting right here says a
quart covers 100 sq ft, a gallon, about 400 sq ft.
It's a good catalog aimed at fabric arts, however alot of their tools are
great for ceramics too.
