To access MSDS from many chemical manufacturers I use the following web site.
http://siri.uvm.edu/msds/
It is the Vermont Safety Information Resource site.
I rarely have difficulty obtaining MSDS from chemical suppliers.
Unfortunately this isn't the case with my ceramics suppliers. They seem to
have as much difficulty obtaining MSDS from their suppliers.
I don't know about those of you in education in the US but for us in
Canada, the regulators have not been policing our Workplace Hazardous
Materials Information System (WHMIS) and MSDS. We're fortunate because it
is very hard to maintain compliance when the information we require is so
hard to obtain. I can only do this by accessing the information available
online.
