For those of you who have wanted to visit the famous French pottery
village of La Borne, allow me to direct you attention to this year's
Potters Tour of Belgium and Central France, 2000, June 6th to 19th. The
Tour will include 2 full days to visit with the traditional and
contemporary potters of this village. Also included is a full day at
the Biennale de la Ceramique, an international potters' market in
Andenne, Belgium, a region that has attracted potters since Roman times.
Other highlights include city tours of Brussels, Gent, Paris, a visit to
the beautiful Loire Valley, a tour of the French National Ceramic
Museum, plus chances to visit with a number of Belgium and French
potters in their studio and more.
