hey gang ~~ i'm looking to buy a big Soldner mixer for the teaching
facility i work at, manchester craftsmen's guild here in pittsburgh.
at nceca i got the price from soldner's booth at a rousing $4600 + ( not

including shipping from colorado ).
does anyone know of a distributor of his that sells it cheaper (and
closer in distance ) ???
i figured someone out there may have the answer !! thanks in advance.

Just check around for the best price. Call all the big
equipment companies.
Sometimes pricing makes no sense: two years ago I wanted
to buy a pugmill at NCECA. I naturally thought that it would
be cheapest to buy it directly from Bluebird, but they actually
quoted the highest price. I walked 30 feet to the Axner booth
and saved $200, then walked a little farther, to Bailey, and
saved even more!
I think the manufacturers are worried about under-pricing
their wholesale customers, and don't want to risk their ire.
