The purpose of warming the tea pot is to prevent the brewing water from =
being
chilled when it hits the leaf and swills around the interior of the pot. =
This
assists in leaching out those substances which dissolve more readily in hot
water than in cool water. So always warm the pot
Another thing you could suggest is to rotate the pot round three or four =
times.
This encourages mixing of the soluble substances with water as they leach =
from
the leaf.
