HI all,1st, to those of you who answered my call for help about my kiln
giving off a shock was GREATLY appreciated,5 outta 6 people were right on
the money-one of my element lead wires was touching the outer case.
NEW PROBLEM : I fired the kiln again (shockless) and after 12 hours, it
would not get hot enough to melt a ^07 cone - any suggestions on this one??

Jo,
You may have one or two non-functioning elements. If the elements haven't
been replaced in a while, you should just go ahead and buy a whole set.
If the elements are new and intact, check your relays or switches. Also,
check to make sure you have a circuit of the correct amperage and a large
enough wire feeding the kiln.
