A LITER of water weighs 2.20 lbs (or 1.00 kilo) at 25 deg. C.,
A POUND of water occupies 0.120 gallons (or 455 mL) at 25 deg. C.

This question is a little more complicated than it appears, even without
typos. How much a measure of water weighs depends on where you are. The
Imperial gallon being larger than the U.S. gallon. Just one more example of
why we should join the rest of the world in adopting the metric system.
