Thank you for that report Tom. And thank you identifying your
connection to Axner's.

Many of us see a dramatic change coming with electric reduction.
It will change the lives of many potters working from their homes,
and do not have access to reduction kilns.

That is my reason for building this kiln myself... I cannot blindly
recommend new things, new ideas before I give it a try.

Kurt will help me with this project, and we will have the 20 fine
potters of `Hay Creek` test it hard.

What is so nice, is that we can also use this kiln for bisque firing
in the normal way. Place a piece of kaowool in the gas ports...and
fire slow electric.

I had heard of Tom's kiln, and am anxious to see it fire. Perhaps
one day. Again, thank you Tom for the report.

Called Euclid's today and they are shipping new coils.
Called ITC and ordered some more material. This is going
to be interesting.

Tom, Mel, Nils, et al,

I've been following this thread with great interest as my situation fits
the above description to a "T". I'll be interested to see what your
results are, especially as regards the long-term life of the
elements. BTW, where do I find ordering information for ITC products?
