I am not a subscriber to this list but I in search of expert ceramics
opinion and thought this would be a good forum for my question.
My mother recently celebrated her 60th birthday. I know she has badly
wanted a new kickwheel to throw on for some time and now seems like a
perfect time. I would love to get one for her but a) have no idea where to
start and b) have relatively little idea what I should look for. She used
to have a kickwheel in our old house but lost it in a move, and has been
less happy since then. Does anyone out there have any ideas where i should
start and what i should look for? Or is kickwheel preference extremely
individual and therefore hard to shop for in secret?
