i bet that tyvek (sp.) that is used to surround houses would
make a great flat surface for a slab roller.

p.s.
i once did an entire bathroom in tiles that i had impressed
with japanese yew pine.
just layed it on the slabs for the final rolling, left it in there
and cut the tiles....fired that damn stuff during the bisque...
knocked out the ash. damn nice, if i say so myself. (gd woman
won a price on that bathroom, never mentioned me once..xitch.)
