Hi,
Lenore Vanderkooi....potter in Nashville.......
took a workshop at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC last May -
she was the instructor.......works with natural materials - incorporating
them into her clay designs....beautiful work...featured in a POTTERY
ILLUSTRATED article two years back........Ikebana bowls ....a specialty of
hers......incredible pieces..........her studio/home is in Nashville........a
former student of Cynthia Bringle as well.........

Paul,
contact the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists (615) 665-0502. Not only
will you find excellent clay work by many potters in Nashville and
surrounding areas (Murfreesboro, Smithville) but other fine traditional
crafts. There are two major crafts fairs in Centennial Park every year. Next
month in May and the other in October. Both produced by the Association.
