To whom ever was looking for some Gerstley Borate Free Raku glazes, here's a
few. Never tried them however. So you're on your own.
In the interests of following through answers to requests, would those who =
post
recipes which are not their own invention please attribute their source. =
Beside
the accolade to the inventor who spent time and money in research to achieve
these gems and their generosity in sharing them with you there is the =
question
of copyright infringement. Just give author, book title, publication date =
and
publisher if you borrowed them from a book or the name of the teacher if you=
got
them from a workshop.
After all, there may be other important information about whatever process =
is
under review which could be useful to those learning about the craft. I=92m =
sure
Veena, Antoinette and Toni would agree with this simple request.

Ivor,
While I agree it is a matter of courtesy to give credit where the
originator is known, in the U.S. "mere listings of ingredients or
contents" are not copyrightable. Neither are titles, short phrases, names
and slogans. Some of those may be trademarked--a much more rigorous
procedure, but they are not copyrightable. I suspect it is that way in
many other countries also.
For those interested in U.S. copyright law, and it comes up frequently on
clayart, there is a 10 or 12 page booklet titled Copyright Basics
available from the government. There is another titled Copyright
Registration of the Visual Arts. I got mine by writing my congressman,
but it may be available on the web by now. The copyright web site is
