(studios etc.) in the area.

Welcome to Atlanta! You will love it. My husband got his masters at Tech
and is a great fan of the school. As for ceramics, many, many
opportunities!! Glen Dair is the director of the pottery program at
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center which is probably the best known ceramics
program in the city. Studio space is available many areas of the
city. Glen should have some ads posted on his bulletin board, but could
also answer any other questions you might have about ceramics in the city
. His number is 404-874-9351.

Lynne in Atlanta where it is spring and beautiful, but extremely cold right now!

There are several studios around Atlanta. I teach at the Spruill Art
Center in Dunwoody, but there is also the Roswell Art Center, one in
Gwinnett, Callenwolde, Chastain and Abernathy as some other choices.
Please feel free to contact me off line.

We lived in Atlanta for two glorious years. A friend of mine took a raku
class at the Gwinnett County Cultural Center (northeast suburban Atlanta)
and loved it. Good luck & do the tomahawk chop at Turner for me!

Try Callandewold (spelling?). They have classes in ceramics there and I
believe you can work your way up to having your own studio.

I have taught workshops at Callanwolde Art Center. Glenn Dair runs a
good program with lots of advanced students. He has good kilns of many
types (stoneware, salt, etc...) and there is an assistantship program if
you are interested. It is in a nice area of town. Enjoy Atlanta...
