Thanks to all who helped me with this. The results were good and our
class participents are pumped about doing more. The earthenware glazes
(something like Amoco) were just fine. The outcome has lead to a couple
more questions.
1. Colors were not very pronounced, in each case being dark and metalic.
We did use only gray, black and a green glazes, and all appeared kind of
black. The green gave a hint of its color. Can we do anything to bring
colors out a little better?
2. Why did we get no crackle?
