Hi all, especially those in California (northern)
Just wanted to tell about a show that will be opening soon - Feats of Clay,
on May 6, 2000 - Feats Artists Reception and Awards Ceremony, 6:00-9:30 pm,
at the Gladding McBean terra cotta factory.
This is such a cool show! The opening is remarkable, the factory, the work
and oooo the reception. It is a bit costly to get in for the opening, 25.
bucks a ticket i believe but what a cool show. I got in 3 years ago, and
finally made it in again!! I wish I could go, but can't do the trip this
time, I did go the first time. Any clayarters interested in some great work,
both functional and sculptural, I do think the lean more in a sculptural
direction though.
If you go, would love to hear a report about the show!
