I was thinking...I love seeing everyones links but because I can't read all
these posts everyday I'm missing a lot of the sites. What if we had a
central page for links to Clayarters sites? If the group thinks its a good
idea I would volunteer to have such a page that could be accessed from my
website. Orrrr...if there is a site like this LOL will someone point me in
that direction????

Hi Vicki,
My site, the ClayStation is by no means affliated with
the ClayArt group but I have made a conscious effort
to invite and add links to Clayart members with web
sites, within the ClayStation. My ultimate goal or
slogan of my web site is "Andy Clift's ClayStation -
Uniting the world of Ceramic Arts on the Internet."
You will find many links to web sites made by
ClayArters, plus many more beyond the ClayArt group. I
have 1080 links so far and the site continues to grow
everyday.
If there are any ClayArt members that know they are
not listed on the ClayStation I suggest adding your
site. To add a link on the ClayStation to your site go
to http://claystation.com/add.html
Tell next time,
Andy Clift

P.S. This is probably considered a form of self
promotion but I figure this is a valuable resource all
members of ClayArt should know about.

Hi Vicki,
I know of a couple of good places to start. One is Russel Fouts's website:
http://mypots.com where there's a links page. Another is mine:
http://members.aol.com/goodrichdn/clalinks.htm
Russel's is better organized, and looks like he puts more time into it.
Each has hundreds of links to Clayarters' websites and plenty of other
clay-related things. Chances are, if you explore either of these you'll find
other similar pages.
I took a look at your iloveclay.com site, and enjoyed seeing the work
there. Some colorful raku, and intricate handbuilt pieces. I hope your site
can grow to include more pictures of your techniques.
Happy hunting,
Don Goodrich

"Texas mud Woman",
Love it! Could I introduce you to "Untamed Mudd" in North Carolina?

I get the Clayart in the digest form so I'm normally a day behind so it took
me a while to see your post. Thanks Janet and Don for the advert.
For the most part, if someone has included their web site in their Clayart
posts, it ends up on my link page. Or if someone refers to a web page, I add
it. Usually in a few days (I'm getting ready for a fair right now and am a
bit behind).
I've added them for the very reason you state. It's nice to see what someone
"looks like"
I don't usually ask permission, I just add them. If someone sees their link
on my page and wants it removed, I'll remove it, no problem (hasn't happened
yet).
If anyone wants to link to my web page go ahead, no need to ask. Out of
fairness though, PLEASE link via the "front page" with the link
http://www.mypots.com. It's bad netiquette to link directly to ones link
page.
If anyone wants their URL on my page and doesn't see it there yet, let me
know. Messages from Clayarters like Barbara Brown (HOW could I have
forgotten you!) and Ed Gray alerted me that "something might be up". You'll
all be added in the next few days.
Vicki, I've noted your URL, it will be added too.
There is lots of other stuff there as well; materials sources, courses,
Health and safety resources (no poetry though, just here). It's all
catagorized (after a fashion). I hope to do a better job of this some day to
make it easier to find things.
The best way to find links on the page is to use the "find in page" function
in your browser's tool bar.
Enjoy!
Russel
