hello all ~~~ i'm hoping you techheads have something to help me here.
i am currently running the studio at manchester craft'smen's guild here
in pittsburgh. we are located in a light industrial section of the
city.
our kilns that use controllers have been losing (frying) relays at a
too rapid rate due to power surges in this area. the kilns are two
large ovals made by evenheat and bailey, both are 208v and 1 phase.
they are both wired directly into the box/wall. i am NOT a techhead
!! the electrical guys that i've talked to have quoted me $$$$$$$
thousands to handle the amperage/volts going thru.
any ideas????
thanks !
