Like several other potters in Canada, I have been experiencing breakage of
junior Orton cones in the sitter before firing is completed in my Olympic =
12/14
test kiln.
Rather than order more of these cones (6 and 7), I have been snapping of the
tips of large cones and using those. They never break and actually bend at
exactly the same time as my witness cone=21
