For all those who met Bronwyn at NCECA in Denver, I thought you may like to =
see
some of her work. So I have improved the =22Virtual CERAMIC Gallery=22 on =
The Chapel
of Art web site to include Bronwyn. The images are all of =
decorative/sculptural
work. As the tile makers amongst you know, it is the tile-maker's lot to =
spend a
lot of time working on commissions for kitchens, bathrooms and swimming =
pools,
where the tiles fulfil a function too.
The =22Swimmers=22 series were all slip decorated and mostly unglazed or =
only
partially glazed. Bronwyn found it strange, that people generally seem to =
prefer
the glazed work, almost as if it is =22unfinished=22 otherwise.
And for all you dear folk who are waiting patiently for Bronwyn to contact =
