I tried the simple glaze in the May/June issue of Clay Times in an article
written by P Pinnel, I don't know if he reads ClayArt but.....the glaze is
lovely and now what do I sub for the Gerstley Borate?
The glaze is as follows.......Cone 04-6 Oxidation
Darby's Base
Spodumene 50%
Gerstley Borate 30%
Flint 20%
It is a clear glossy, makes a wonderful white with 12% zircopax. I haven't
tried it with the other suggested oxides. Thank you for your help, Em
