Hi to you folks in Phila. area,
Will be there for 10 days and aside from the Clay Studio, The Works, South
Street, and the places in Northern Liberties, is there anything you can
recommend during May 20 to the 30th? You can answer off list to:
Joyce A.

Thanks in advance

Dear Joyce,

You may come in to Phila too late on the 20th but there will be a Tile Festival at
the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works on Saturday May 20th from 10:00am until
5:00pm. There will be tile artists coming from all over the US to exhibit at this
outdoor show and sale. It will be held rain or shine. This will be about 1 hour's
drive from inner city Philadelphia and well worth the drive. I will be going to
check out all the tiles. I took a tile course there and have made a few tiles
myself. This show is in the town of Doylestown. You can call them for directions
if you are interested. 215-345-6722. Enjoy your visit! Nancy List

Don't miss Helen Drutt, in the 1700 block of Walnut Street, above Knit Wit.
Right now she has a show of Elspeth Owen, one of my favorite British potter,
beautiful pinch pots. Also, in Old City, where the Clay Studio is, go to
Syyderman Gallery on the 300 block of Cherry Street, furniture and paintings
upstairs, other crafts below.

Lynne, an associate at the Clay Studio, a wonderful place IMHO
