Can anyone recommend places to look at taking weekend workshops in the
Atlanta, Georgia area or within 2 to 3 hours driving of Atlanta?
Thanks for your help.

I used to teach at the Spruill Center for the Arts in Atlanta. They have good
facilities and many teachers/class times to choose from. There is also the
Callenwauld (sp) Art Center in Atlanta. The Parks and Recreation Dept. has
pottery classes (at Chastain Park I think)
I now teach at Good Dirt in Athens, GA. (706) 355-3161. Athens is about an
hour drive east of Atlanta. Facilities here include gas, electric and raku
kilns. Kick and electric wheels. Throwing, glazing and handbuilding areas.
I'll stop before this sounds too much like shameless self promo. Hope this
information helps.
