paperclay saggar/seaweed question

Elizabeth,

I tried Dannon's method with good results in a pit fire. The paper saggar
seemed to be in tact, but I could not say it contained the fumes from the
semi corrosive salts etc. Those fumes may have a deleterious effect on your
elements.

sandplay therapy, oh yes oh yes!

Here on the Crystal coast (Hurricane Alley, as well, a little =

later in the season, but for a brief 3 weeks just the Crystal =

Coast), the water is calling and so is the seaweed.

I want to try DR's paper saggars on pots with the seaweed I will =

be out collecting shortly. Has anyone tried this in an electric =

kiln and how did it go? Do the salts stay put in the saggar and =

on the pots or should I try this as a pit firing method instead? =

And if I should, any tips on this?

respectfully submitted,
