While I was looking through Ebay to see what category potters might list =
their work, without being lost in with all the 19th and early 20th =
century works, I came across 2 pots by Tom Coleman. Was wondering if =
these are Shino's since they are green. After Mels description in the =
clayart room of what original Shino's are would this be one with =
coloring oxides in or is that not kosher . Seems he is doing a test run =
on Ebay, and I caught it with only 14 hours left. I think that would be =
about 9 AM eastern time US This message might not get to folks in time =
to see. The way I found it was to go into www.ebay.com then under =
search put in pottery contemporary.
Brings up question #2 is there a way we can either agree on a =
section to list under there or maybe encourage them to put in a better =
title to find other potters work. That way with a bit of consistency =
folks would know where to look to see if a piece by a particular potter =
was for sale. Just a marketing idea. There was also a resale piece by =
Lucie Rey. =20

I sometimes search by potter's names, i.e. Bernard Leach,
etc. I know that the basket pot is not a shino, it used a
technique he developed during is "test site" series I
believe, and the other one is gone and I can't remember what
it looked like. He has been working with a lot of shino
lately though.
