When in Bellingham...go to Fairhaven. It's a small town now a part of
Bellingham. You'll find at least 3 or more clay galleries. Mud in Your Eye
and
a few others which I can't remember their names. In downtown Bellingham,
there's Indian Street Pottery. I'm sure there are others.
Seattle...Someone already mentioned Northwest Craft Center at the Seattle
Center.
Also, go check out Seward Park by Lake Washington. There's also
the Pottery School, one in Pioneer Square and in West Seattle.
I know there's also several other galleries dealing with pots, but I live
several miles
from Seattle.
Between Seattle and Bellingham...You'll find other galleries with pots.
Everett...Snohomish County Art's Gallery in the old Monte Cristo
Hotel. It's on Wall Street. Pop in and tell Carrie and Liz that
Steve sent you.
Sedro Wooley...there's a potter with a gallery there, never been to it
but I've heard it's pretty good.
Snohomish...JC Kalin and CO. It's a gift shop with pots. You'll find
it in the Marx's building There's also the Farmer's Market with potters,
it's on Thursdays.
Kirkland...by Seattle. There's the Kirkland Art's Center.
Port Townsend...Across Puget Sound and north of Seattle. There's quite a
few
galleries and shops.
Tacoma...South of Seattle. Freighthouse. This is an old Rail Road freight
house.
There is a group of Potters with a shop in there.
Also visit...Seattle Pottery on South Hanford Street. And Clay Art Center
in Tacoma.
CAC is really close to Freighthouse.
Hope this get's you going with some ideas. This is a very incomplete list.
