The MATT WILT Workshop organized by Texas Clay Arts Association in Houston
has a few (less than 10) remaining openings. Please send in your
registration if you are interested in attending as a press release has gone
out to local papers, inviting the general public (odd phrase) to register.
The cost of the workshop is $30 and it is scheduled for Saturday, June 24
from 9a-4p at POTTER'S PLACE in Sugar Land, TX. Please call Karen at

Matt is the professor of ceramic arts at Sam Houston University & his work is
fascinating - rich in surface treatment, shapes, and form. He is featured in
CM (April 1999) and Kathy Triplett's book, HANDBUILT CERAMICS. A slide
program is planned. Matt will demonstration how he masters assembling thrown
and molded pieces.
