Mike,
just look in Fred Olsen's "The Kiln Book" for the plans
for his fastfire wood kiln. Thousands of variations of this
kiln have been built all over the world.
The main problem with this design is not firing too fast.
A small one can reach cone 10 in 3 or 4 hours.
My double-size larger version can fire in 5-6 hours, but
the firings look better if it's slowed down to 8-9 hours.
