I am looking for tin glazes that resemble those used by Luca Della
Robbia in the 16th century. I am most interested in finding a white
that appears hard and satin polished like alabaster marble (with a
minimium of surface texture) and if I could win the lotto on this one --
I would like to nail down the cerulean blue he achieved. I have tested
majolicas and they are too soft looking. I'm a sculpture and I lack
the technical chops -- any of you glaze gurus have suggestions? In
